The team at Pharmasave are working hard to provide you and your family with ongoing medicine supplies, and health advice during this challenging time. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and related pressure on the availability of medical supplies, some medicines may be in short supply from their wholesalers, but generally new supplies are coming back in fairly quickly. Their advice is to make sure you have enough medicines for three to four weeks – stockpiling beyond that isn’t necessary. Their team carries an extensive inventory of prescription medicines and replenishment orders are received every morning, so most prescriptions are filled without any issues.

Here are some handy tips to help keep you and your family healthy over coming months:
Wash hands often with soap and running water, for at least 20 seconds. Dry with paper towel or hand dryer.
Try not to touch your eyes, nose or mouth.
Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze. If you don’t have a tissue cough or sneeze into your upper sleeve or elbow.
Isolate yourself at home if you feel sick. If you take medication ensure you have adequate supplies.  Find new ways to connect – phone, skype, face time, write letters.
Phone your doctor (GP) first if you need medical attention. They will tell you what to do.
Continue healthy habits: exercise, drink water, get plenty of sleep, and now is the time to quit smoking. Call the Quitline 137 848.
Don’t wear a face mask if you are well.
Buy an alcohol-based hand sanitiser with over 60 per cent alcohol.
Get the flu shot (available April), phone the pharmacy first to check availability (8794 7920)
Avoid shaking hands.
Be kind to those working in the essential services. This is new for everyone and health workers in pharmacy are putting themselves and their families at risk to keep patients safe and to ensure medicines are available.
Do something to boost your mood – order takeaway from your local, read a book, meditate, get fresh air in your yard

Eden Rise Village Update

With the increasing focus on COVID-19, we would like to update you on the key actions that Eden Rise Village Shopping Centre is taking in response to this fast moving situation.

Our highest priority remains the health and safety of our patrons, tenants and employees.

To ensure we take appropriate steps to manage the risk of COVID-19, Eden Rise Village have implemented the following measures –

– Hand sanitiser stations have now been installed around the centre to promote good hygiene practices. We encourage you to use these stations when frequenting the centre.

– We have also introduced increased cleaning measures – including enhanced cleaning procedures for high touch areas.

We remind customers to practice regular handwashing, use hand sanitizer and refrain from shaking hands.

We continue to monitor regular World Health Organisation (WHO) and the Australian Department of Health updates, and will adapt further health and safety measures at the centre, if and when required.

Thank you for your continued support and cooperation during this time.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact Centre Management on 8786 8266.
