Our pharmacy is owned by six pharmacists Darren Pountney, Kelly Pountney, Pete Tzimos, Stav Mantas-Tzimos, Janette Beecroft and Grahame Beecroft. We are supported by a great team of experienced pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and pharmacy assistants. Our pharmacy is an approved training site for university students studying pharmacy and most years we employ a pre-registration pharmacist. Feel free to speak to any member of our team – call in or phone the pharmacy on 8974 7920.
Eden Rise Pharmacy is a member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia and the Pharmacy Guild of Australia. The pharmacy holds full accreditation under the national Quality Care Pharmacy Program. We are also a member of the PharmaSave Group.
We believe it is a sensible idea to develop an ongoing relationship with your preferred pharmacy. This is particularly true if you happen to have a chronic medical condition.
When you use the same pharmacy regularly, your pharmacist can view your entire medicines history and monitor how well you have been managing your medicines.
Sometimes your pharmacist may consult your doctor about your medicines. They can work together to determine if an alternative medicine might be considered.
Your pharmacist can also help you understand your medicines better, beyond what you can find from an online search. Sometimes common medical problems can be a sign that further research and investigation is required. Our pharmacists may even recommend that you visit your doctor. Due to the nature of our practice, we offer private consulting spaces to allow you to speak to a pharmacist privately.
To manage your overall health, we also provide many other professional services. For example, a Home Medicines Review can provide an independent overview of the way in which you manage your medicines. Additionally, we can provide blister packs called medico packs with your own weekly medicines securely sealed for different times of the day. Using a medico pack can help you take your medicines exactly as your doctor intended. Further, we store your repeat forms in the pharmacy to avoid the problem of missing prescriptions. We can also let you know when your repeats are running low.
